Children’s holiday on the farm in Terento

A farm holiday has a truly special fascination for children. Countless new experiences await our small guests in the fabulous mountain world of South Tyrol, and every day there is something entirely new to discover. The farm Perchnerhof in Terento offers ideal conditions for varied children’s holiday on a farm. Away from road traffic, the kids may play and romp freely in the open air – the deep forests and green meadows offer a marvellous adventure playground right outside the front door.

Farm holiday with lots of animals

The Perchnerhof is a South Tyrolean farm with many animals: cows, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens live on our farm. The cats look forward to be cuddled and our farm dog is a friendly fellow. Our small holiday guests are welcome to actively participate in the daily activities on the farm: they may give us a hand in the animal stables or in the hay barn. This way, the children will get an authentic impression of rural country life during their kids’ holidays on the farm. The children may safely play in the woods and on the meadow, while you enjoy the warm sunshine with a good book on the lawn.

Leisure activities for kids in Terento and the surrounding area

For children there is never a boring moment in the Val Pusteria, since many leisure facilities guarantee plenty of variety during their farm holidays for kids. Right in the village there is a mini golf course, while several summer toboggan runs in Val Pusteria offer great fun. The climbing garden offers you and your children the opportunity to gain first climbing experiences, and in the summer the Issengo Lake invites you for a refreshing swim. An exciting experience is the cattle drive in the fall. The whole village celebrates the moment when the festively decorated cows make their way from the mountain pastures into their winter quarters. Fun excursions take you to the Kneipp Path and to the Wildlife Park Assling.
